It’s easy to pack when not in use I used this for 3 weeks of walking and hiking in Peru. I had intended to use it crossbody but ended up detaching that strap and simply carrying it on one shoulder. I always carried a water bottle and either a sunglass case or a small video camera in the other pocket. Cell phone was in the outside zipper pocked, and other miscellaneous items in the main compartment: jacket, cardigan sweater, toilet paper roll, coin purse, food, purchases, etc. The only disadvantage is that it is shapeless…
