I zipped the side pocket closed a single time after packing it, and the zipper teeth are completely seized. Look closely at my photo, and you can see that the teeth don’t even join together the way they are supposed to. It is now impossible to fully unzip, and has rendered that pocket useless. Gigantic Bag I bought this for my husband to use as a carryon bag. It’s surprisingly gigantic when it’s opened up. He was able to put about 15 hardcover books and piles of notebooks and more and more….until I had to tell him the restrictions on carryon items, lol. So, this would be great as a checked baggage item, maybe for lots of soft items that won’t be destroyed by TSA, but I do not recommend for a carryon at all. Super well made and looks very nice though! We will keep it and use for checked luggage…
