Substantial padding for achy joints This is one of the better crate pads I’ve purchased. Most of them are really flimsy and require something additional under them to really provide cushioning, especially if you have a pet who’s been run over and had extensive reconstructive surgery (she’s doing great though!). It’s easy to throw in the washer to clean and maintains its shape after multiple washings (I purchased a smaller size so a larger one might not fit in a regular machine).
