shaft is too long
Nice boots, but too wide in the calf for me. These are perfectly nice boots, and not uncomfortable at first try. Unfortunately, my calves are 13″ and these were just a little too wide. They’d probably have been ok with jeans, but I wanted to wear them with a dress. Also, the shaft was about an inch too long, and came up to almost the middle of my knee. I got them at a really good price, but I couldn’t justify keeping them if they weren’t exactly right. I have way too many pairs of boots for that, lol. The hunt for nice, knee high suede…
Beautiful but Terrible, Awkward Fit I bought these in the brown suede and they are absolutely gorgeous. And I do mean gorgeous. However, I was forced to return them because of the terrible, terrible fit. For some reason they are extremely narrow in the shaft of the foot. I could not even bend my feet in them to walk. Also, the calf of the boot is extremely narrow as others have commented on. Even if you have a normal sized leg these are going to be too small. There is no stretch or forgiveness in the material.
