It can be stressful for pets that are used to regular hard case carriers. I give it 2 stars because maybe it works for someone else but for me and my 8lb siamese cat going to the vet was a disastrous nightmare. He has been transported in a borrowed hard carrier many times and he was always calm, but in this he cried all the way and became so super stressed that he pooped all over the carrier and himself so that I was gagging from the stench in my car and had to drive in 104 degree weather with my windows open.
