This was ordered for and used as carry on baggage on an international flight. Very useful, lots of compartments inside and out, and sturdy construction as well as material. It carried my 15.6″ laptop in its padded sleeve along with a ton of stuff, insluding infated neck pillow, medium weight jacket, money purse, medicines, toiletries, and e-reader. The straps will hold up – no question, and were VERY comfortable on the shoulder and arm. I did not use the long strap at all, the short straps…
