Not really 14 inches wide; not really zipper flaps This is an okay bag, but the pictures and descriptions are not entirely accurate. To say this is 14 inches wide is a bit of an exaggeration. It’s only 14 inches wide if you mention from outside of outer pocket to outside of outer pocket, not the main compartment. My 9.5″x12″ laptop barely fits inside. Mary Poppins Bag I absolutely adore this bag.I bought this for a trip overseas. Our tour leader stressed getting a bag that would be difficult to pickpocket, and while nothing is pickpocket free, this is about as good as it gets for a canvas bag. The flap buckles- twice- and the main compartment zips. There’s also a hidden pocket in the bag that sits right up against my hip, hidden from view.
