How to Set:
1.original factory codes:0-0-0
2.find the black round button at the bottom.

How I changed the combination I have ordered 2 sets of these, so I now have 8 total. All of them were very easy to set – 10 seconds each. The cable is secure and I use them for locking storage cabinets and ammo boxes.For what these locks are intended for and how they are priced realize they are a deterrent – not a heavy duty padlock. I had to do the combination change a little differently but it worked. First I did the 000, opened it, pushed the button on the bottom (silver on the blue ones, not black) with an ink pen and held it in firmly. Then dial the combo you want, and then switch the numbers around, and then locked the little cable back. Then I did the new combination, and it worked.
